Our Online Golf Academy is a unique program designed for an extra curricular subject for schools. Already in use by Harrow International School Bangkok and International School Bangkok, this highly comprehensive program is tried and tested and has resulted in dozens of Tournament wins both individual and school team. Several of our students have attained U.S. College Golf scholarships and we have introduced golf to hundreds of students that ordinarily would not have tried the sport.
The Academy runs 30 weeks of the year and involves teaching students at a local driving range/golf course/indoor centre, after school. It is delivered via Google Classroom and is designed to teach golfers of all ages and levels at the same time.
The Online Golf Academy has two different options, with or without a PGA Golf Professional.
The Golf Academy
This program includes a PGA Golf Professional who will be responsible for delivering the program, all coaching and reporting to the school. The management and delivery of the Program will be arranged by Golf Advance.
This option takes all the hassle out of running an extra curricular golf program as it is outsourced. There is no cost to the school as it is to be funded by students as an extra curricular activity, in other words, we are offering your school a free Golf Academy.
The Virtual Golf Academy
This is a cheaper option for running a Golf Academy and does not require a PGA Golf Professional at your school. Golf Advance will supply our Online Golf Coaching Accreditation free for up to 8 school teachers/staff that are interested in runnning an extra curricular Golf Academy. The teachers will run the program and record the lessons online and a Senior PGA Golf Professional from Golf Advance will review each students practice and send back a private response with comments/recommendations for the following lesson. Each student will follow lesson plans according to their level/ability and will recieve personal feedback each week including practice drill/fitness videos specific to them. Essentially this is a 30 week individual lesson plan run in groups.
Academy Package
Both the Golf Academy and the Virtual Golf Academy include the following:
- Weekly lesson plans for students according to ability
- Weekly Tasks for students
- Weekly quizzes for students
- Handicapping management
- On-course playing sessions
- Golf Team selection and Tournament registration *optional
- Termly reporting for individual students
The Golf Academy includes a PGA Professionals on retainer.
The Virtual Golf Academy’s extra features are:
- Enrollment into our Golf Coaching Accreditation for up to 8 school teachers/staff
- Weekly on line Zoom call to teachers/staff to plan the week’s lessons
- An online video and feedback for each individual student each week
